How Garment Remodelling Works
Every remodelling project begins with an assessment of the garment and its materials. We review what can be reused, what may need support, and how the original construction affects the final result.
After the review, we discuss the redesign concept and scope before any work begins. This helps set a realistic plan for the garment, especially when the fabric, seams, or available allowances place limits on the design.
Thoughtful redesign starts with the fabric you already have.
Needle Craft reworks garments with care, using construction, condition, and fit goals to shape each project.
Our work includes dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. Thread and trim matching is used where available, and supplementary materials are quoted separately when needed.
A fit or finish review is part of the process, and garments are checked again at collection. We also provide care and pressing notes so the finished piece is easier to maintain after the work is complete.
